CIP Protection for NITRODOSE Liquid Nitrogen Dosing Systems

Woburn, MA – February 2008 – Vacuum Barrier introduces Automatic CIP (clean in place) protection device available as an option on all NITRODOSE® liquid nitrogen dosing systems.

This device ensures that anytime liquid nitrogen dosing has stopped, the automatic shutter closes, preventing any moisture from entering the dosing head. “During CIP there was always the potential of moisture getting into the dosing valve causing freeze-up. Although we have always provided a snap-on cover, this eliminates problems that might occur from forgetting or loosing the cover.” States Mike Johnson, Director, North American Sales, Vacuum Barrier, “This clean design device is an integral part of the heater block, not a bolt-on part that could loosen up and fall off. An additional benefit is that the clean area is not re-exposed by an operator manually removing a cover.”

For fifty years, Vacuum Barrier has remained the leader of liquid nitrogen transfer and handling equipment with a variety of liquid nitrogen dosing models and cryogenic piping to meet your needs. The highly skilled team of engineers has a combined 175 years of experience with Vacuum Barrier and continues to design, engineer and fabricate liquid nitrogen handling and transfer equipment within their Massachusetts facility.
