Woburn, MA – February 2008 –
Vacuum Barrier introduces Automatic CIP (clean in place) protection
device available as an option on all NITRODOSE® liquid nitrogen
dosing systems.
This device ensures that anytime liquid nitrogen dosing has
stopped, the automatic shutter closes, preventing any moisture
from entering the dosing head. “During CIP there was always the
potential of moisture getting into the dosing valve causing freeze-up.
Although we have always provided a snap-on cover, this eliminates
problems that might occur from forgetting or loosing the cover.”
States Mike Johnson, Director, North American Sales, Vacuum Barrier,
“This clean design device is an integral part of the heater block,
not a bolt-on part that could loosen up and fall off. An additional
benefit is that the clean area is not re-exposed by an operator
manually removing a cover.”
