Jack Botto retires from Vacuum Barrier after 33 years of service

Woburn, MA - April 2007 – Vacuum Barrier announces the retirement of John “ Jack” Botto after 33 years of service within the Vacuum Barrier organization.

Jack Joined Vacuum Barrier in 1974 as a cryogenic fabricator for their complete line of SEMIFLEX® cryogenic piping and numerous cryogenic components.

In the early 1980’s he crossed over to the sales and service team. For two decades, this new role brought Jack throughout the world promoting Vacuum Barrier’s equipment and providing clients with on-site equipment service when needed. When Vacuum Barrier launched their complete line of liquid nitrogen dosing systems to the food and beverage industry, Jack was one of many team members that went the extra mile to ensure their customers were well trained on their equipment and that highly skilled service was provided. In this sales role, Jack also worked with Vacuum Barrier’s worldwide agents to provide training on new product designs and equipment upgrades.

In 2000 Jack’s extensive on-site experience allowed him to work closely with Vacuum Barrier’s Engineering team on equipment improvements and modifications that address the needs of a wide variety of industries.

Jack will be truly missed by his extended family at Vacuum Barrier, who would like to wish him well and much happiness on his future endeavors.
