July 2006 – Woburn, MA - Edward Hanlon, Vice President Worldwide Sales, Vacuum Barrier is pleased to announce the promotion of Mike Johnson to Director, North American Sales. Mr. Johnson will be responsible for Vacuum Barrier’s entire cryogenic handling and transfer equipment product line.

Mr. Johnson began his career with Vacuum Barrier in 1983 working within the Engineering Department. After 4 years within the Engineering Department he joined the sales force as an Application Engineer under the direction of Leonard Gardner and was quickly promoted to Senior Application Engineer. Mr. Johnson brings 23 years of cryogenic experience within a wide range of industries.

Since 1958, Vacuum Barrier has designed, engineered and manufactured cryogenic equipment for the Food and Beverage, Semiconductor, Automotive, Lighting and Pharmaceutical industries.
