April 25, 2006 – Woburn, MA -Vacuum Barrier’s new NITROMATIC fill station is designed to fill vacuum insulated storage tanks (or Dewar’s) with liquid nitrogen from larger bulk systems or tanks.

Vacuum Barrier’s continued collaborations with clients on their cryogenic handling equipment determined the need for the advanced system to eliminate liquid nitrogen waste and provide the confidence of receiving a true liquid nitrogen fill.

The NITROMATIC is equipped with an automatic shut off and safety time out feature that can be set for 30, 60, 90 or 120 minutes. These features do away with liquid nitrogen waste by preventing the release of liquid nitrogen for extended periods of time. Also, labor waste is reduced by eliminating the need for employee supervision of the Dewar as it fills.
