Woburn, MA - April 2005 - Vacuum Barrier welcomes Priya Rajagopalan to their engineering department in the position of Controls Engineer. Ms. Rajagopalan began working with Vacuum Barrier in 2003 as a consultant and was recently asked to join their team full time.

Ms. Rajagopalan responsibilities include working on the design and development of Vacuum Barrier’s line of NITRODOSE® liquid nitrogen injection systems, specifically in the programming of the PLC and touch panel interface. Other assignments include incorporating several improvements on existing control systems.

Before joining Vacuum Barrier, Ms. Rajagopalan worked as Automations Project Engineer at Eurotherm Process Automation. Ms. Rajagopalan gained significant knowledge on various control systems, a variety of PLC’s, touch panels, supervisory control and data acquisitions software and communication interfaces while taking part in several offshore automation projects.

Ms. Rajagopalan graduated from the University of Madras with a degree in Electrical Engineering specializing in instrumentation and control systems. Ms. Rajagopalan is currently a member of IEEE Control Systems Society.
