Woburn, MA – February 2004 – Vacuum Barrier
Corporation the original manufacturer of SEMIFLEX® dynamic
vacuum insulated flexible piping proudly adds a sealed version
to this time proven product line.
Sealed SEMIFLEX® is constructed from copper to provide the
lowest cool down and steady state loss – similar to existing
dynamic SEMIFLEX® piping. Frost, moisture and ice ball problems
commonly associated with foam insulated or soft vacuum lines
are eliminated with Sealed SEMIFLEX®. The smooth contours
in the pipes design allow for a higher liquid nitrogen flow capacity
while the ultra clean copper pipe provides the highest purity
liquid nitrogen.
Sealed SEMIFLEX® is a cost effective solution for a variety
of cryogenic applications. Each pipe is helium leak tested and
cold shocked to ensure its vacuum integrity. To achieve the longest
service life in the industry every pipe is heat soaked during
evacuation and is equipped with chemical getters.
Since 1958 Vacuum Barrier Corporation has designed, fabricated
and engineered cryogenic equipment in their Woburn, Massachusetts
facility and has remained a leading supplier to the Food and
Beverage, Semiconductor, Automotive and Lighting industries worldwide.
